Iguana go home























Logbook 1/16/07
Departed Ponce at first light. Made 40 miles before we had to tuck into Puerto Patillas as the seas were building past 10 feet. Nice little small boat fishing village supported by a reef 2 miles offshore. Got to tow in a local fishing boat that had broken down.
Logbook 1/17/07
Departed first light while seas were calmer. Seas built quickly going by Punta Tuna, which is usual for that area. Too rough to make it comfortably to Vieques, so we tucked into Palmas del Mar. Lots of development since we were here 4 years ago. Many waterfront condos & a new marina & seawall being built. Took a dinghy ride thru the canals & got a great picture of an Iguana hanging on a piling.
