Tourists in Ponce, Puerto Rico
Logbook 1/13/07
Waiting for winds & seas to calm down. Looks like another 3-4 days. Got a rental car & acting like land tourists. Ponce is a beautiful city with lots of history. The downtown Plaza & Cathedral is spectacular. The 1800's fire house is quite a colorful sight. The marina here is great. Good restaurants, 2 pools, tennis courts, playgrounds, etc. It is next to the Boardwalk that has all kinds of little restaurants & bars with loud Latin music pounding rhythm into everyone. Another good place to be stuck.
