Logbook 1/10/07
Finally got a break in the winds & dangerous seas and departed South Caicos at first light. Ran down the Columbus Passage to Ocean World Marina, a huge development with Casino & dolphin waterpark. Our last trip here, we had to stop In Luperon and have them bring 55 gallon drums of diesel to hand pump for fuel. This place is quite a step up for boats traveling south. Tomorrow will try to make Samana or Punta Cana before the treacherous Mona Passage crossing to Puerto Rico.
