Saba - an island that touches the clouds

Finally stopped at little Saba island. This steep, rugged mountain that pushes up almost 3000 feet from the sea is only 5 square miles with a population of 1500 people. Our friend, Kai Wulf manages the Marine Park and organized a great tour of the island. The settlers were Dutch, Scottish and English. A beautiful and clean island with wonderful, friendly people. We had our thanksgiving dinner there with Kai at The Eco Lodge. Had to climb a mountain path in the dark to get there. No electricity, candlelight. The best food you can imagine.
