Martinique
Took off to Martinique after the earthquake. Beautiful weather. Easy crossing. Made it to Fort-de-France, the capital in 1 1/2 hours. Very european & quite different than St. Lucia. Good roads. good shopping & good construction. The population is over 400,000 vs 170,000 for St. Lucia. We slayed our French pronunciation but managed to find English speaking people in most places.
