Cooking for a 5 star chef






One of our neighbors here at The Anchorage is a 5 star chef, Roland Czekelius. He is opening the restaurants at The Landings. All plans are to get a 5 star rating there also. Roland has been at Caneel Bay, USVI, Vail Colorado, Cape Cod and others. Having shared some of his culinary delights, Faye sought to repay his generosity by cooking a traditional Thanksgiving turkey dinner. Getting some ingredients & spices in St. Lucia proved a challenge but Faye was up to the challenge. Amy e-mailed the recipie for broccoli casserole which proved to be Roland's favorite. A good time was had by all and we all stuffed ourselves.


Went to Diamond Falls yesterday to enjoy the volcanic hot mineral baths. They were constructed in the 1750's by French soldiers. A great way to soak out the kinks & work up a thirst for a beer at Archie's in Soufriere.
