Day 4 - Kansas and Oklahoma

Joplin, Missouri is in the SouthWest corner of Missouri. Shortly after departing, you cut the corner of Kansas. 13 miles on old Route 66 and you will pass into Oklahoma. Slowing down now. I spent my college years in the Midwest and the scenery in Illinois and Missouri is pretty similar. Hope to kick back and enjoy some new country and soak it up.

Thank the heavens for the Route 66 navigation App. It would take a navigator in the passenger seat and 2 researchers in the back seat to provide details on where to turn for the old Route 66.
