Shakedown trip
Bought a 2020 Pleasure-Way Plateau TS RV (YouTube video). Time to explore the USA by land. With the Covid-19 Pandemic locking down the country (and the world), had to delay getting on the road. Some travel restrictions were recently lifted, so I took the opportunity to do a "shakedown" trip to Western New York to visit my brother, Phil. Wanted to check all systems and learn the new equipment. Things very similar to a boat, but not floating on a sometimes violent, corrosive environment. Went to Dunkirk, New York. Visited Dunkirk City Pier on Lake Erie, The old Point Gratiot Lighthouse and my boyhood home from the late 1940's to early 1960's. Have included a photo from 1957 to show how the house has changed.Will try to be more conscientious about keeping the blog up to date. Hope you enjoy sharing this trip with me.
