Day 2 - Route 66 “The Mother Road” Illinois

Left Dayton, Ohio 5:15 AM and drove to Chicago to start at mile 1 of Route 66. So far, all the corny stuff in the guide books is there.

Want to get south asap so drove almost to St. Louis. Saw the arch in the distance. As I pulled over for the night.
