Cummins has the part we need in Stuart, FL. Have arranged for a Cummins mechanic to do the repairs in Ft. Pierce. Did an epoxy repair on the cracked wet elbow to get us underway. The temporary repair held & we made it to Harbortown Marina. We got an e-mail from Steve Jarrell. He performed in Hopetown, Abaco recently. Said he had a great time & hated to leave. Sorry we missed him.

Logbook 11/15/06
Waiting for part. 7:00 AM weather report looks great for a Gulf Stream crossing today. Wind from the South. Changing tonight to winds from the northern quadrants, which stirs up the northern flowing Gulf Stream. Tornado warnings & a bad weather pattern thru the weekend. If repairs not done today, we won’t be able to cross to the Bahamas until the weather changes.
2:00 PM wrong angle on the wet elbow. Stuck here till at least Friday for repairs. The bar has Mount Gay – no problem!!! Beautiful marina. Nice dock neighbors. Life is good.
