Almost Ready

Hullabaloo is back in the water at White Point Marina & ready to go. She is looking great with her new Awlgrip blue hull and all the teak redone. The new AB dinghy and Yamaha 15 HP outboard motor are on the davits and should be a great new "water taxi" for us to explore in. The old Nautica dinghy and Nissan outboard were getting tired after 7+ years of service. We knew we would have to replace them soon & didn't want to wait till we got to St. Lucia. Things are much more expensive there because of shipping & duty. The new Swedish Memory Foam mattress and settee cushions are nice upgrades. The guest stateroom will be packed full of things to take to St. Lucia, so we won't be having any overnight guests on this trip. Our plan for day 1 is to run down the Chesapeake Bay to Norfolk, Virginia. That is where the Intracoastal Waterway begins. Hope to make it thru all the bridges in town & get at least to Great Bridge Lock before it closes for the evening.
