From St. Lucia to Chicago
Had one day in Fredericksburg to reopen the house & catch our breath, then off to Chicago for the wedding of Jason Tatum (Faye's nephew) and Julie Domanchuk. It was great seeing everyone & meeting Julie's family & friends. We were pleasantly reminded of how beautiful a city Chicago is. The weather was great with temps in the 70's. Walking around to sight see caused a problem. I haven't had shoes on in 7 months, so my poor feet were getting beat up by real shoes. Faye went to Nordstrom's and got me a pair of Crocs to wear. That worked great & we walked all around the "Magnificent Mile", the Lake Michigan waterfront & the Chicago River.
