Hurricane Tomas
On Saturday October 30, Hurricane Tomas, a category 1 hurricane, hit Saint Lucia and dumped over 23 inches of rain on the island. Reports indicate that up to 14 deaths were caused by the system and an estimated $500 million in infrastructural damage. We lost some roof tiles and a flag on Hullabaloo. The international Airport and a hospital lost their roofs. No power or Water.
